Manchester United star suffers new injury setback

Wayne Rooney has suffered a fresh setback in  his recovery, from his current injury. This according to Mirror.

The United captain was due to be back by April, but that might be extended by a month.

The 30 year old was has not played since February 13, after United's away defeat at Sunderland,  and he may spend more time on the sidelines than first expected.

According to the report, recent scans showed that Rooney's knee has not healed as quickly as the United medical staffs had expected.

The player may still feature for United during the closing stages of the season, while his chances of competing at EURO 2016 is 100% baring any further negative development.
