Manchester United will renew their interest in German and Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kross according to Daily Mirror.
The midfielder has been a long term United target, but manager Van Gaal seems not too interested in the player. However with Van Gaal almost certain to quit United at the end of the season, United will reportedly rekindle their pursuit of the World Cup winner.
Daily Star is also reporting the story further that United are ready to offer £40m for the player.
With two of United's current midfielder in their thirties, a move for the versatile player looks good on paper.
It however remains to be seen if United will make an actual bid for the player.
