The United manager was unhappy with the manner his team secured the three points against arguably the poorest side in the league.
United's 1-0 win over Villa, relegated the team. But playing at Old Trafford, against a poor Villa side, United could only score once, and suffered a late scare when Villa threatened to score late on in the game.
The Dutchman knows his team should have done better and killed off the game with a second or third goal.
Speaking after the game, he said:
"I'm not too happy with the performance. We have to finish the games a lot earlier and today we didn't do that."
"I have said to the boys before the match that Chelsea can beat Manchester City.
"Man City have the problem we had in that they have played this week and Chelsea didn't so they are more prepared. They can beat them I hope.
"It was not our best performance, of course, you have seen it for yourself. I think we played too slowly and it was also difficult as they were playing very defensively and very compact.
