Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has verbally agreed a new five year deal with the London club, which will definitely keep him out of a move to Old Trafford.
The Argentine has guided Spurs to a title challenge this season and invariably into the Champions League next season.
He has been linked with United, over the last few months.
The Argentine has built his current Spurs team around young players such as Ali, Harry Keane and others. And United fans would have loved to see what he can make of the brilliant group of young players within the ranks at United.
"We have not signed yet but we have reached the verbal agreement to stay here for the next five years. When will we sign? Maybe tomorrow [Saturday] or on Tuesday, it depends on my lawyer.
"It was an easy decision when you feel the love of the people and the potential of the club is massive, so why change? The Spurs boss said reacting to agreeing the new deal.
This further decreases the amount of possible targets for United in case of a new manager hunt.
