Here's how much the winner and runners up of the FA cup will get

The FA Cup is the oldest football competition in England and there is much more to it than the money.

The thrills and joy of a seemingly small team from a remote community knocking out a big Premier League is financially unquantifiable.

However the winners of the competition this season will get £1.8m, while the runner up will get 900,000 this according to the official FA  website.

Let this be known that clubs make much more money from the competition. Clubs make money from gate fees, T.V rights, and other ways.

The money stated here is directly  from the organizers to the clubs.
