BBC football expert Mark Lawrenson and world boxing heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua are both tipping Manchester United to knock out Everton of the FA Cup when both sides meet on Saturday.
Mark admits it is a match that would have a huge say on the future of the Everton manager while he thinks Van Gaal's future would be decided by their hunt for Champions League football.
He however thinks United's newly found form and urgency in their play would give them an edge at Wembley.
He told the BBC:
"..... If he wins the FA Cup, Martinez might get more time because they have not won anything since 1995, but if they get rolled over by Manchester United then he is in big trouble.
I don't think United boss Louis van Gaal has changed the way his side play, but there was a little bit more urgency about them in their win over Crystal Palace on Wednesday.
"Van Gaal's future is in doubt even if he wins the FA Cup, though. For me, he needs a top-four finish and Champions League football to keep his job."
Mark finally predicts a 2-1 United win.
Boxer Anthony Joshua is also tipping United to win. He's predicting a 3-1 United win
