The former Liverpool and Manchester United striker is tipping Everton to hold Manchester United to a 1-1 draw at the end of 90 minutes when both sides meet in the FA Cup semifinal on Saturday.
Both sides have been underperforming this season and the competition would have a say in the future of both managers.
United head into the match on the back of an impressive 2-0 victory over another FA Cup semifinalist Crystal Palace.
Everton on the other hand suffered an embarrassing 4-0 loss in the Merseyside derby.
Owen wrote on his Colossus Bet column:
"..... Man United have been infuriatingly inconsistent this season but at least they have strung three wins together recently, and have beaten Everton 3-0 and 1-0 in their league meetings this season.
"But regular readers know how much I rate Everton, for all their league position is embarrassing for a club possessing such talent and that they reached a new low in a 4-0 loss at Liverpool on Wednesday night, and I can see this being a very tight game.
"Hopefully, pride will now kick in for the Everton players. I think it will be 1-1 after 90 minutes.''
Owen's 1-1 prediction will push the match into extra-time and maybe penalties.
Do you see the game heading into extra time?
