Manchester United may have endured a season of many ups and downs, the team still boast of one of some of the best players in certain positions in the league.
One of such is United goalkeeper David De Gea. The United shot stopper is arguably the best in the league and one of the best in the world.
He was the only United player named by fellow Spaniard Cecs Fabregas in his Premier League team of the season.
Fabregas was the host on Sky Sports Monday Night Football, where he discussed on a lot of issues relating to the Blues, before naming his best team of the season.
De Gea has made 42 appearances for United this season as is one the main reasons behind United's enviable defensive record.
United have kept a league high 15 clean sheets this season. With De Gea keeping 13 clean sheets in 29 league matches.
Other players that made the Fabregas' team of the season are
Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin, Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld, Leicester’s Robert Huth and Southampton’s Ryan Bertrand which makes a solid back four.
The Leicester duo of Kante and Mahrez were joined in midfield by West Ham's Dimitri Payet and Tottenham youngster Dele Alli.
The top scoring duo of Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy, are his most preferred strikers in a 4-4-2 formation.
