Star striker to miss Manchester United Vs Leicester clash

Leicester City's Jamie Vardy will not be available for selection when the Foxes visit Old Trafford on Sunday.

The player was given an extra one match ban for his improper conduct after been sent off by referee  Jon Moss in Leicester's 2-2 draw with West Ham.

The 22 goal striker accepted the FA's charge of improper conduct and requested for a hearing.

He was however unable to convince the panel to reduce his punishment.

He served the compulsory one match ban as he sat out the Foxes' 4-0 win over Swansea. He will now miss his second and final game against United.

Tottenham's 1-1 draw with West Brom on Monday night means, Leicester can be confirmed Champions if they defeat United at Old Trafford.

Vardy was in superb form when both sides met at the King Power stadium earlier in the season where he scored his record breaking eleventh consecutive goal in a Premier League match.

With Vardy missing, United will be hoping to get the three points to boost their top four hopes.
