Rio Ferdinand questions Roy Hodgson's substitutions against Russia

The former Manchester United defender has questioned the substitutions made by the England manager in the 1-1 draw with Russia.

Roy Hodgson decided to substitute Wayne Rooney for Jack Wilshere on the 78th minutes, in a move that was annoyed a lot of fans.

The England manager also had a good number of strikers on the bench, but decided to stick with Harry Kane, who didn't have the best of games for the full 90 minutes.

Ferdinand thinks, the game needed pace which England had aplenty on the bench. Check out his tweet this morning (Sunday):

"Substitutions questionable last night - you take 5 strikers and dont use them. Game was calling for Vardy, sturridge or Rashford. PACE!!
