French and Arsenal legend Robert Pires has hailed Marcus Rashford as a real striker who has the mentality to succeed on the international stage.
Rashford has enjoyed a meteoric rise in the last few month, from making his debut for United in February to earning a place in the England squad to the European Championship in June.
Pires was impressed with Rashford for scoring against his former club, Arsenal in the League back in February, and is telling England to give him a chance in the European Championship.
"When Rashford landed that double against, my old club I took notice straight away,” Pires said via the Sun.
"He’s young but looks like an international striker to me. Marcus is what you call a ‘real striker’ – he scores with his right foot, his left …and with his head.
"And for me he has the mentality to succeed on the international stage."
Rashford is way being in the striking department for the Three Lions, with strikers like Kane, Vardy, and Sturridge ahead of him.
He will however be hoping to get his chance in the Championship.
