Everton fear losing Lukaku to Manchester United

Everton are beginning to believe that the Belgian striker would move to United, irrespective of where United finish on the Premier League table.

The Everton hitman has stated his desire to move to a Champions League playing side next season, and the likes of PSG, Real Madrid and Juventus have been linked with the forward.

Everton however fear that United are leading the race to sign the forward, according to the Mirror.

Everton manager Roberto Martinez has stated that the player is not for sale, but the club fears that a United managed by Mourinho will be too appealing to Lukaku to reject.

Both men worked together at Chelsea, with Mourinho sanctioning the sale of the striker to Everton, after which he (Mourinho) criticised the player for not fighting enough for a starting place in the then Chelsea setup.

Both men have since burry the hatchet, and are believed to be in good terms.

Lukaku recently said  he can play under Mourinho again and this may just happen next season at Old Trafford.
