Manchester United may have endured a below par season but the team have had one or two stand out performers.
One of such is defender Chris Smalling. The United defender has started 43 out of Man United's 49 games this season.
United have the best defensive home record in the league and have kept the highest number of clean sheets.
He is one of the defenders chosen by John Terry as the top performers in the league this season.
In a list dominated by Leicester City players, Smalling was one of the three non Leicester players selected by the Chelsea legend.
The three non Leicester players selected are Ryan Bertrand of Southampton, Dimitri Payet of West Ham, and Harry Kane of Tottenham.
