The duo of Ander Herrera and Ashley Young returned to the team ahead of the visit of Everton.
Ashley Young has been a long term absentee from the team. He has been out since January, while Herrera has also missed the last few weeks.
Young defender Fosu-Mensah retained his place in the squad. While the likes of Wayne Rooney, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Like Sahw remain sidelined.
