The former Manchester United striker is predicting that the FA Cup reply between both teams at Upton Park would end in penalties.
United had to come from behind to force the tie into a replay at Old Trafford about three weeks ago.
After the team's six minutes fall at Tottenham on Sunday, the match is a perfect opportunity for United to make a comeback in London again.
Both teams have lost grounds in their quest for a top four finish and would be giving their all for the game.
Owen wrote on his Betvictor column:
“Wembley at stake and an extremely difficult game to predict; nothing could separate the sides at Old Trafford and I think this might be going all the way to extra-time and penalties!
“United are unbeaten in their last 11 competitive games with the Irons although their last defeat to West Ham came at the same stage of the
League Cup at the Boleyn Ground back in November 2010."
The FA Cup remains United's only hope of a silverware this season.
A semi-final clash at Wembley with Everton still stands between the winner of this tie and the final of the competition.
