Ander Herrera: The F.A Cup is emotional and here's why we want to win it

The Manchester United midfielder holds the FA Cup in high regard, knowing it is an important trophy for the fans.

The player has also set his sights on playing at Wembley stadium: one he described as a fantastic stadium.

United travel to London to face West Ham in the replay of the quarter-finals of the oldest football competition in England.

In an interview with MUTV, he said:

"I know how important the FA Cup is for our fans."

"We don’t have players in the dressing room who have won it for United.

"I was talking to Michael Carrick about it and he told me he wants to win and get to Wembley. We realise how important it is for us as players and for our fans to get a trophy.

"In the Premier League you show your balance (Over a long period of time) but in the cup you show your spirit and your desire to win.

"The FA Cup is a big competition, it’s very emotional.

"If we beat West Ham we’ll have the chance to play at Wembley, which is a fantastic stadium. I have a lot of things in mind about being there
and we have a big chance to be there, but of course West Ham away is not easy."
