Manchester United reach agreement to sign Villarreal's Eric Bailly - Report

Manchester United have reached an agreement with Spanish side Villarreal for Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly, according to Spanish media outlet AS.

Barcelona, Manchester City ad Leicester City have all tracked the player in recent times, but United seem to have snatched the player.

United have reportedly concluded negotiations with the club and are now opened to talk with the player. The 22 year will join United for  €40m. A deal could be announced in the next few hours.

The player joined the Yellow Submarines a year and half ago, from Espanyol for €5.2m,  and has been impressive.

He made his debut for Ivory Coast in 2015, and represented them at the African Nations cup that year.
