Manchester United star named sixth most valuable footballer in the world

Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has been rated as the sixth most valuable footballer in world football, according to International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) in Switzerland.

This puts him ahead of Barcelona's Luis Suarez in seventh, Man City's Sergio Aguero in ninth and former United star Paul Pogba in  tenth.

Martiay, 20, was a surprise last day signing from AS Monaco for a fee believed to be in the region of £36m. The move attracted a lot of criticism and scepticism from fans, but the player has lived up to the billing.

He ended his debut season at United as the team's highest goal scorer with 18 goals, and looks like a real deal.
