Del Bosque will make decision on De Gea or Casillas soon

The Spanish coach is yet to make his decision on who will the the LA Roja's first choice goalkeeper at the European Championship starting in a few days time.

Both De Gea and long term Spanish number one Iker Casillas are in competition for the number one spot. De Gea is coming off a fantastic personal season at United where he kept the second most clean sheets in the League despite missing a couple of games at the start of the season.

Casillas, 35 has been the team's first choice sine 2002, but his records last season with Porto left much to be desired.

A report via Squawka revealed that Casillas concession of 30 goals is the worst total for a Porto keeper in last fifteen years. Even though he recently broke an European record with his 167th for the Spanish team in their 6-1 friendly win over South Korea.

It's a thought decision for Del Bosque who hinted that De Gea will start in Spain's last friendly against Georgia later today.

"It's possible that De Gea will play tomorrow - Casillas did so against South Korea and that's all we can say," he said.

On who will be Spain's first choice goalkeeper at Euro's he said:

"I don't have to make that decision now, and I'll make my mind up at a later date."
