Barcelona are reportedly preparing a summer bid to land United defender Daley Blind. The Dutchman was a key player for United last season starting 35 of United's 38 league games.
Reports emerged yesterday that Mourinho will listen to offers for the player, who he doesn't see as his ideal defender.
According to reports from Spanish media outlet Sports, Barcelona are ready to offer £14m for the 26 year old.
The Spanish champions could lose two men in their defence this summer, as the future of Javier Mascherano and Dani Alves are up in the air with a move to Italian champions Juventus possible for both players.
Allowing Blind leave could be Mourinho's first mistake at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman can fill in at left back, centre back and midfield. Having players of such use is a great asset to any team. Blind's passing abilities are also top notch, and a beauty to behold.
The player has spoken of his desire to work with Portuguese, and it will be nice to see Mourinho give players like Blind a chance to show what they can do in his new setup before taking a decision on their future.
