Manchester United alongside other top European clubs have expressed interest in young Brazilian striker Leandrinho.
The 17 year old currently plays for Brazilian side Ponte Preta, but the his agent is hoping to secure a move to Napoli for the player.
"I’m doing everything possible to bring the player to Napoli, but lot of clubs are chasing him." His agent told Radio CRC via Metro.
"He has never been to Castelvolturno to get a trial with the club, his uncle went to there, but he also went to Barcelona and Manchester before.
"Both Manchester clubs want to sign him,and Real Madrid had sounded out on his availability in the past.
"He is only 17 but he has the personality of a great footballer. I am trying to bring him to Naples. I want to convince his family. English clubs offer lot of money, but Napoli have a project.
"He can’t sign any contract before January,2017, when he’ll turn 18. He’s a purestriker. He has scored eight goals in nine games this season."
Manchester United recently completed a move for Dutch starlet Tahith Chong, who is 16, and it would be good to see another great addition to the United academy.
With a lot of interest in Leandrinho, he certainly looks like a big one for the future.
