Insider provides hint into José Mourinho's future

José Mourinho is not interested in a move to Spain according to an insider who spoke to Express.

The former Chelsea manager is the fans favorite to take over from Van Gaal at the end of the season.

However there are indications that the Dutchman still has backing of some top board officials at Old Trafford which seem to be delaying the deal to bring in Mourinho.

Sir Alex Ferguson recently advised United fans to exercise some more patience with Van Gaal which has not gone down with a lot of fans.

Since the exit of Garry Neville's from Valencia, Mourinho is believed to have been offered the job. He is also been touted with a return to Real Madrid.

But an insider close to Mourinho told the Express that the Portuguese is not willing to move to Spain now.

According to the source:

"Jose does not want to return to Spain at the moment. He feels that his future lies elsewhere."

Italy could have been another destination for the tactician, but a move to Inter has been quashed long ago.

When he was hosted by Inter's former director Massimo Moratti whose sister Bedy  claimed the Portuguese will not move to Italy now because of a pending appointment somewhere else.

As it stands a return to England looks top of Mourinho's  priority and switch to  United in particular.
