Manchester United produced one if their best performance in Europe under Van Gaal on the night. Memphis Depay and youngster Rashford were in the top of their games.
United manager Van Gaal has tell the media what he told the two goal hero Rashford at halftime. Speaking after the game, about the teenager, he said:
"Rashford was unbelievable, he was at the sidelines and I sat him down and told him he should be in the middle, he scored two."
