This FC Midtjylland midfielder supports Man United: Reveals his United hero

FC Midtjylland midfielder Tim Sparv has revealed that he is a Manchester United fan. 

His Danish club host United in the round of 32 in the Europa League on Thursday.

Though the player still thinks United are a Champions League team, Van Gaal's men are on the verge of not qualifying for the competition next season, and their surest route to qualifying will be winning the Europa League, which they must start by knocking out  Midtjylland.

The player revealed that legendary United winger Eric Cantona was his United hero, and the reason he supports United.

“Eric had personality, character and dominated the space around him, his aura was exceptional. He made me a United fan." He told the Sun.

“In my eyes Manchester United are a Champions League team. They should always compete in the Champions League and should always get past the groups." He added.

United must be careful as the Danish side once knocked out Southampton from the qualifying rounds in August.
