The former Manchester United striker says he expects his former team to get a win in Denmark, as they travel for the first leg of their Europa League tie.
United have been disappointing in the league, and winning the Europa League looks like the team's only available route of qualifying for the Champions League next season.
Currently fifth on the Premier League table, the team's 2-1 loss to Sunderland over the weekend means Van Gaal's boys can't afford another defeat or woeful result.
Writing on for Bet Victor, he wrote:
“Midtylland were only founded in 1999 and this is the biggest game in the short history of the Danish champions.
“That said, this is a game my old club should win and I expect them to do so and bring back a lead to Old Trafford.”
