The Old Trafford boss is optimistic that things can turn around for the club, while admitting that the club is experiencing a bad period and things must improve immediately.
The Dutchman walked out of the press conference ahead of the boxing day tie with Stoke, after demanding an apology from the media.
Manchester United are without a win in their last six matches, and have lost their last three matches in all competitions.
Writing in his Manchester United match day programme, he wrote:
"We can turn this situation around. The best way to come out of this period and improve is for us all to stick together.
"There's no disguising the fact we're in a very bad period. Things must begin to improve immediately."
United will be hoping to get back to winning ways on boxing day when they travel to the Britannia to face Stoke.
