There is always the slight possibility of another romance between Ronaldo and Manchester United. The Portuguese star has not shut the door of a return to Old Trafford, while United have also been always lurking around the idea of bringing back the boy they once raised.
Manchester United current form and results has led to the possibility of manager Van Gaal losing his job. A string of barren draws, followed by elimination from the Champions League and successive defeats have raised uncertainty over the Dutchman's future as the boss at United.
With Van Gaal still at the helm of affairs, two names have been prominently linked to United.
One is Pep Guardiola and the other Carlo Ancelotti. While more fans will prefer the former, the Italian looks like the more easy to get of the two. He is currently out of job, and has indirectly indicate his interest if the Old Trafford job becomes available.
Ronaldo has come out to say good things about his former boss, and went further to say he would like to work under him again.
"In the beginning I though he was more a tough person, more - kind of arrogant, and it was the opposite."
