Van Gaal has confirmed the German midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger would be back this month (March).
The midfielder suffers his knee injury in United's 1-0 FA Cup victory over Sheffield United, early January.
He has reportedly travel to Germany to see national team expert over the injury, however Van Gaal gas confirmed yhis month as his return month.
The player himself confirmed on February 25 that he should be back running in five days, and that five days after that, he should be able to train with the ball.
Van Gaal has also echoed the same belief, that schweinsteiger should be back this month. Speaking ahead of the clash with West Brom, he said: (Via Man United official site)
"He(Schweinsteiger) is also coming back in March. Valencia is coming back and training with the first team, as is Fellaini. Jones shall train with the first team next week and Schweinsteiger may do this also. They are coming back, but they then have to be fit to play."
This is good news for United, as the team has been plagued with injuries that have made the team miss over 15 players at some point this season.
