Adidas boss express concerns over United's style of play

The CEO of the German sportsware company Herbert Haine has expressed the company's concerns over United's style of football, though they are alright with the sales of the club's jerseys.

The German outfit last summer signed a world record deal worth £750m for the next ten years as the club's kit manufacturer.

United manager Van Gaal has come under intense criticism of late for the team's style of play, and things got so bad for United last December as the team could only get two points from an available fifteen, while also getting knocked out of the Champions League.

The team has started the year on an improved note, with a 2-1 victory over Swansea.

But the concerns seems to have gotten beyond the fans, and may be getting to United's business partners.

Speaking with  a German newspaper, the Adidas boss said:

“Business with Man United is going very well, we sell more shirts than expected.

“We are satisfied… even if the current playing style of Man United is not exactly what we want to see.”
