Manchester United's 1-0 over Liverpool came at a cost for United. United were the second best team for most of the first half and were lucky not to to have fallen behind.

The second half performance from Van Gaal's boys was a much improved, and United got the vital goal through captain Rooney.

But at half time, not only the manager did the talking Schneiderlin has revealed,  the players themselves yelled at each other in the face of reality. According to ESPN Schneiderlin said:

"When we came into the dressing room after the first half, there was some screaming and shouting but of course that is normal because in a derby you cannot lose the battle.

"Liverpool are a very high-pressing team and we knew if we kept a clean sheet we would have a chance to win the game.

"In the second half we did what we had to do. We scored one goal, stayed strong and, at the end, it is three points which is amazing."

Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho, also confirmed that the Liverpool players heard screams from the United dressing room at half time.

"United were very lucky today and they know it. We could hear them shouting in the dressing room at half-time, because I think today we ate them."

It's great to know that United player are that committed to the team.
