José Mourinho's agent, Jorge Mendes has rubbished claims that his client wrote a letter to Manchester United for the yet to be vacant managerial role.
United's loss to Southampton further increased the pressure on Van Gaal, and hours after the defeat, the Independent reported that the Portuguese tactician had sent a six page letter to the United board stating that he would love to manage United, how he intends obeying the club's principles and few players he would want to sign.
While United are yet to release an official statement to counter the claims, Mourinho's agent has falsified the claims.
"It does not occur to anyone that a coach like Jose Mourinho can write letters to clubs offering their services.
"It is absolutely ridiculous and totally absurd." Mendes wrote on www.gestifute.com
