Martial set another record against Newcastle

Manchester United may have looked disappointing in the 3-3 draw with the Magpies, but the young striker still managed to put his name in the record book as the joint fastest player in the Premier League this season.

He joins Leicester striker Jamie Vardy as the league best runner.

Martial's 22mph over five seconds was the same as Vardy, who clocked the speed against the same opponent (Newcastle) in August.

Since his debut goal against Liverpool, Martial has won a number of awards, including the Golden boy award and Manchester United player of the month twice.

3.   Jeffrey Schlupp 21.9mph (Leicester)

4.    Kyle Walker 21.8mph (Tottenham)
