This pundit believes United can still make the top four

Robbie Savage thinks United can capitalize on the current downturn of things at Arsenal and City to make the top four.

United are on a four match winning streak, and having defeated Arsenal in the process, confidence is sky high in the United camp.

With City, Arsenal and Tottenham losing their last matches, United took maximum advantage with a 1-0 win over  Watford.

And since Tottenham and Arsenal will be facing each other this weekend, United can further close the gap on either of the London teams.

Writing in his column for the Mirror, Savage wrote:

'Despite my tipping them to win the title last August , I’m afraid that ship sailed a long time ago for Louis van Gaal.

"But four consecutive wins, powered by exuberant youngsters with no fear of failure, has at least put a different complexion on
Manchester United ’s season.

"I sense the supporters warming a little towards Van Gaal after his comedy fall on the touchline last Sunday.

"And with Arsenal’s season in meltdown, a top-four finish is not beyond them.

if Van Gaal delivers a top-four finish, and wins either the FA Cup or Europa League, would it be such a bad season’s work?"

No Robbie, if he can make the top four and win any of those Cups, United fans will not regard the season as an outright failure, considering the amount of injuries the team has suffered.
