Chelsea 1-1 Manchester United: Player Ratings

De Gea: 8.5
A man of the match performance from the Spaniard. Made a number of mouth watering saves. Without him, United would gave lost.

Darmian: 7
Another solid performance from the Italian. Was brilliant on the attack, and stopped a lot of Chelsea attacking moves.

Smalling: 7
Did a good job on Diego Costa, and was good around.

Blind: 6
Was part of a solid centre back setup. Had a tough day in the office against Costa, but was strong.

Borthwick-Jackson: 7.5
Yet another impressive outing form the youngster. Stood his ground against Willian, though he was beaten a few times, played a role in the United goal. His crosses and attacking instinct were top class.

Fellaini: 7
Another impressive performance from the Belgian. Used his physical strength to help defensively and stood man-to-man with Matic and co.

Carrick: 7
Calm and intelligence performance from the 34 year old. Provided stability for United in the midfield.

Lingard: 7
What a goal from the ever promising youngster.

Mata: 7.5
Another eye catching performance from the Spanish playmaker in the number 10 position. He was industrious and always trying to make that final deadly pass.

Martial: 6
Brilliant start from him, but faded away after United's goal. Did a good job against Ivanovic.

Rooney: 6
Flat attacking performance from the United skipper. Could have influenced the game more.

Substitutes

Schneiderlin: 6
Came on a continued from where Fellaini stopped.

Depay: 4

Another performance that questions his readiness to play for United at the topmost level. Couldn't make the best use of the few minutes he got.
