Former United midfielder Owen Hargreaves thinks it is right time the Manchester United board take a look at themselves.
United lost their second game in a roll to a Danish side that has not played competitive football for two months - The 2-1 Europa Leave defeat to Midtjylland.
The board has been reluctant to sack Van Gaal, while result and performance have not changed.
The Champions League winner thinks United need to have a review of their transfer policy as the club can't boast of having the best players in the world.
Speaking on BT Sports after The 2-1 defeat by Midtjylland, the former Bayern midfielder said:
"First it was Moyes' fault. Now it's Van Gaal's fault. When does the club take some responsibility?"
"The best players in the world
don't play for Manchester United anymore. The club needs to take a serious look at it's recruitment.
You can't but agree with Hargreaves on this.
