David De Gea would be having a scan soon to reveal the extent on his injury.
United were forced to make a last minute change after the Spaniard sustained an injury in his warmup training few minutes before the match.
Van Gaal speaking on De Gea after the match said:
"He has a knee problem, we have to wait and see. We have to investigate with a scan."
De Gea joins United's long injury list, and becomes the thirteenth (13) player currently out of the team.
Fans and Van Gaal would be hoping its not a bad one, as the player has been United stand out player of the season so far.
