The United manager has hinted that young defender Donald Love would make his first start against Midtjylland in the Europa League.
The youngster replaced injured Matteo Darmian in the 2-1 loss to Sunderland over the weekend, and is in line to make his first start tonight.
Speaking ahead of the match, Van Gaal said:
"We have young players sitting on the bench and my belief is they can all play. For example, tomorrow's right-back has only played one game for us."
While there are a lot of young players in the travelling squad, Love is the only one that has played only one game for the first team, that is a defender.
