Rio Ferdinand responds to C.Ronaldo's 'we don't talk to each other' claims

The former Manchester United winger while trying to play down the essence of intimate relationship between teammates on the field, said he wasn't talking to Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand in the 2008 season when Unites won the Champions League. In his words:

“At Manchester United I won the Champions League and I didn’t speak with Ferdinand,  Giggs or  Scholes. We said hello to each other and that was it."

However, Ferdinand has counter those claims.

Ferdinand now a BT sports pundit was asked about Ronaldo's claim about not being close pals, and he replied:

"He's gone off me!"

"He used to live next door to me. "Unbelievable."

This means both players were not as distance to each other as C. Ronaldo claims.

Ronaldo was trying to defend the relationship between him and his fellow attackers at Madrid.
