The injured Manchester United left back hinted on Twitter that he is close to his return, just as United are a step closer to the final of the Europa League.
Van Gaal had once disclosed that the player could be back for United this season, if United go as far as the finals of the Europa League.
The player himself got injured while playing for United in Europe, though not in the Europa League.

His tweet came after United knocked out FC Midtjylland to get into the round of 16, of the competition.
