The Borrussia Dortmund striker has quashed all reports linking him with a move away from the German club for now.
A host of top European clubs including Manchester United and Arsenal were reported to be tracking the new African footballer of the year.
Speaking at the award night held in Lagos, Nigeria, he said:
"Let me say this first: I am not going to Arsenal.
"Dortmund is my club and I am not leaving soon."
This will clear the air of rumours linking the Gabonese to England, at least for now.
