One of these five strikers would most likely join Mourinho at United

The Portuguese is almost certain to be United's next manager.

United leaving Van Gaal out of their preseason tour video says a lot. The team is ready for a change  of manager and can't guarantee that the Dutchman will be in charge at United next season.

José is the fans favorite. A man of his ways and methods. With United struggling for goals this season, the Portuguese will most likely sign a  new striker to join him at United.

Redlyunited looks at five possible targets and the possibility of they joining.

1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic

The 34 year old would be out of contract with PSG in the summer, and as always, England is a likely destination.

Skilfully and strong but age is a huge barrier to this deal. United wouldn't have to pay PSG anything though the player's huge wage would be out into consideration.

A reunion with his former manager aids the possibility of a deal, but it would be a short sighted deal if it happens.

Best is a one year deal with the option of another based on attaining certain aims with the club. Rumors of a deal has been around, and anything can happen.

2. Gonzalo Higuian

He is currently the highest goal scorer within the top five European leagues, with 29 goals.

He is  also a former Mourinho player. There's been rumour about him joining the special one at Old Trafford, though nothing is concrete for now.

A move to bring the Argentine to United would be an expensive one, as his buyout clause is over £70m.

At 28, the striker is within the best age range of his career. His goal scoring return is high and is a natural goal poacher.

A deal for the Argentine looks possible, good on paper but expensive. Imagine a Wayne Rooney - Huguain combination.

3. Alvaro Morata

The 23 year old Spanish forward has recently confessed his love for the Premier League, and a move to United wouldn't be a bad one.

A move back to Madrid seems to be the first option for the player, but with the trio of Ronaldo, Bale and Benzema still leading the lines for the Galaticios, he would have limited playing time in Spain.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been reported to be interested in the player, but with Mourinho at the helm of affairs at United, the player can be convinced to join the Mourinho  revolution at United.

4. Edison Cavani

The player has voiced out his discontentment at how he is been used at the French club.

His Father has also listed United as one if the teams he would like to see his son play for, which makes a move look easier.

All the deal needs is an official interest from United. A player willing to move, a club willing to buy and a deal is close.

The player's good goal scoring ratio means United would be getting a good goal poacher and all round striker. He has scored 14 goals in 27 league appearances for PSG and 20 goals 40 matches this season in all competitions. He also can join the Mourinho revolution at Old Trafford.

5. Romelu Lukaku

He is a surprise name name on the list. After denying him an opportunity at Chelsea, can the duo still link up together?

Truth is both men are in good terms, and the striker has thanked Mourinho for giving him the chance at Chelsea, and grace to leave the Blues.

Lukaku remains one of the best strikers United can go for currently. He understands the League, and wouldn't need much time to adapt to the team. With 18 league goals already this season, and 25 in 37 games for the toffees in all competitions, Lukaku is a viable and good attacking target for United.

At 22, Lukaku represents the future and he can form a deadly partnership with the likes of Martial and Rashford.

Which of these strikers would you love to see at United next season.
