Manchester United are preparing a surprise transfer move for Chelsea striker Diego Costa.
The Chelsea forward is reportedly not too happy at Stanford Bridge and may consider a move out of the London club.
Former club Atletico Madrid are reportedly interested in bringing the player back to Spain with a bid in the region £35m but United could overtake them by submitting a bid of £47m, according to Spanish source Fichajes.
There could be a new twist to United pursuit of the striker if José Mourinho takes over at United.
The duo worked together at Stanford Bridge, and the duo make be keen on reuniting at Old Trafford which would aid the move.
