The former United striker is tipping City to win the Derby on Sunday. Both teams head into the match struggling to cement their top four status.
Four points separate both teams, and a win for either side will mean much to their next season.
Despite conceding that the fixture schedule has not been fair on United, Owen thinks City to have too much for United.
He wrote on his Colossusbets.com column:
"It is also clearly not ideal that Utd are in action then and visit Man City on Sunday afternoon, too, and that has to be in the favour of the home
side.
“City clearly aren’t playing to their full capabilities at the moment, have failed to score in three of their last four games.
“But I have to fancy them to have too much for this struggling Utd side – these sides drew 0-0 at Old Trafford in October – and I expect Aguero and co to turn it on in this local derby.
"City 2-0 for me."
