The former Portsmouth manager has criticised Memphis Depay's overall performance for United this season.
The Dutchman joined United last summer for a fee in the region of £25m with high hopes and expectations.
Haven led PSV to the Dutch title with 22 goals and spectacular performances, a lot was expected from his in his first season at Old Trafford.
The winger has however failed to live and match up with expectations. While he enjoyed a mixed start to life at United, with his inconsistent performances that relegated him to the bench, his last two outing for United have been far worse.
He in his last two matches contributed to helping the opposition in scoring vital goals against United.
First against Stoke City, where his headed back pass led to Stoke's first goal, and most recently against Chelsea. His ill-timed pass was what the Blues capitalized on for their late equaliser.
Harry Redknapp speaking exclusively to GiveMeSport, said:
"This kid hasn't done anything. He hasn't proved anything yet and I've been disappointed with him. I thought about it on Sunday against Chelsea when he gave the ball away when they were in such a great position.
"They had an overload of players and they could have punished Chelsea. But he gave the ball away and his reaction when he lost the ball was poor.
"I wouldn't think the manager was too happy with him."
Van Gaal reaction to his performance against Chelsea showed he wasn't happy with the winger, as he was asked to feature for the U-21 side in their next game against Norwich.
He may have redeemed himself as he put on a good show as he assisted three goals in the 7-0 win.
