Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a precontract with Manchester earlier this month according to Italian Journalist Tancredi Palmeri.
The striker has been linked to United and was expected to have his Old Trafford medicals after the European Championship.
Zlatan, yesterday announced that the European Championship will be his last for the Swedish national team as he would be retiring immediately.
"He’s signed for Manchester United." Palmeri told Talksports
"He signed an agreement in early June. It was sent to him at the pre-Euro 2016 training camp in Sweden, he signed it and sent it back.
"It’s the pre-agreement to prepare for the move. That’s just how things work in football , it was the same with Mourinho and Manchester United."
With this United may have sealed the second signing of the José Mourinho era at United.
Though just a pre-agreement, Palmeri says the agreement can't be broken easily.
"As far as I know, the fee for breaking the pre-agreement is so high that nobody ever do." He added.
