Benfica manager Rui Vitoria has admitted that young attacking midfielder Renato Sanches can leave the Portuguese club.
United have been reported to be interested in the 18 year old, and are pushing for a late deal before the Window closes today. He was quoted by Metro as saying:
"Renato is mature beyond his age.
"This situation is not difficult for us. If things happen, they happen.
"We all know that’s the way it is. There is no point in worrying over things that have yet to happen.
"The team is very stable and that helps dealing with speculation like this."
This appears to be a green light for United to make a move, but the youngster wouldn't come cheap for United.
Reports has it that he has a release clause close to £35m in his contract.
Doubt if United will be wiling to pay that much this January for such transfer.
