Manchester United will offer Michael Carrick a one year contract extension with the possibility of he taking up a coaching job at Old Trafford, according to The Mirror.
The 34 year old joined ten years ago from Tottenham, and is the second longest serving player in the current United squad.
I think Carrick still has two more season as a top midfielder after which he can join the coaching crew at United.
