Quite a number of Manchester United fans would have forgotten the name and man Nick Powell.
The midfielder hasn't play for United since February, due to injuries and a lot feared that his bright footballing career might be over.
But the 21 year old played on Monday night for the U-21 team as they lost their first match of the season 2-0 at Norwich.
Warren Joyce, the U-21 team coach recently said the midfielder is looking good for his return to action on the field. "He's certainly put in the hours in the gym and on the training pitch, and is probably in the best condition physically he has ever been in his life." Said Joyce.
Unconfirmed reports had it that the midfielder was ready to quit United.
The midfielder lasted for 55 minutes on the pitch, before being substituted.
Great to see him back. Hope this would mark the beginning of his full return to first team football.
