Manchester United are leading the race to sign Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets. According to reports from Spain.
The player according to Spanish media outfit Fichajes is demanding a pay rise that will make his earnings equal that of Gerard Pique and Luis Suarez.
The club are yet to respond to his request and this has alerted clubs like United and PSG.
His current contract still runs till 2019, but friction over a new deal may pave way for his exit at the club.
Report from Spain claims United and PSG have already submitted bids for the defensive midfielder.
Barcelona are believed to be considering the possibility of selling the player in other to create room for the arrival of former United midfielder Paul Pogba.
