Borussia Dortmund captain Mats Hummels has opened up to his club that he want to join Champions Bayern.
The defender will be entering the last year of his contract and selling him in the summer will afford the club the opportunity to make some money from his transfer.
The player has been a long term United target, but the player seems to have decided to join the exodus of players that move from Dortmund to Bayern.
Bayern are yet to make an offer according to Dortmund.
The developing partnership of Smalling and Blind makes it not too urgent for United to get a centre back.
